Call for participants for a training course in Slovenia

TDM2000 Polska is announcing an open call for 2 Polish participants for a training course “Youth Labor Mobility Online“ that will be organized in Ptuj, Slovenia from 2nd to 10th of February 2015.

The training course is organized under the new Erasmus Plus programme of the European Commission and will involve 24 youth workers and young people from Poland, Bulgaria, Croatia, Italy, Lithuania, Macedonia, Portugal, Romania, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain and United Kingdom.

Food, accommodation, materials and travel costs up to 275 euros are fully covered by the organizers.

Conditions to take part on this project are to be over 18 years old and have a good command of the English language.

Summary of the project:

Youth Labor Mobility Online is a 7-day international training course with participation of 12 partner organizations from Bulgaria, Croatia, Italy, Lithuania, Macedonia, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and United Kingdom. YLMO is going to take place in Ptuj, Slovenia from 2nd till 10th of February 2015 and is organized by local NGO “Student” in collaboration with CET Platform from Croatia.

The TC is aiming to educate young Europeans about the online tools for promotion of youth labor mobility. Participants will have a chance to learn about different opportunities for youth labor mobility such as Eures, EU regulations and funds, limitations, supports and rights of EU citizens. Also, participants will be provided with online tools for promotion of mobility and work on online platforms and approaches for different groups of young people (high educated, unemployed young people, young people with basic education, rural youth, young people that do not know foreign languages, etc).

In follow up activities, participants will be encouraged to get involved in projects and activities of their sending organizations or even to organize their own. As well, online communication strategies and platforms will be used by partner organisations and shared with other youth organisations in Europe and young people in general who will indirectly benefit from the projects.

The project is designed for youth workers/leaders, volunteers and unemployed youth, from 18 –30 y.o. who is interested in the topic and will participate actively.


Youth Hostel Kurent, Osojnikova cesta 9, SI-2250 Ptuj

Youth Hostel Kurent is situated in the centre of Ptuj. It has just enough space for us. You will be staying in 4-bed rooms, boys and girls separately. Breakfast will be served in the hostel, while lunch and dinner will be in Restaurant Gostilna PP. Near the hostel you will find a park, a grocery store, a few cafes, a Balkan restaurant, a pharmacy, a bank, a medical centre and a night club. The train station is only 200 m away; the bus station is even closer. Restaurant Gostilna PP is approximately 150 m away, in the old town centre of Ptuj. As well as Fuerst House, where we will have all project activities.
